Cologne
Cologne, called Köln in German, is located on the river Rhein. Cologne is the fourth biggest city in Germany with a population of one million. Cologne is one of the Germany's media, tourism and business capital.
How to go?
Cologne has an airport, the Cologne Bonn Airport, from this airport you need to use the S-Bahn (train), which costs 2,3 Euro, to arrive the city. Also another airport in the near would be the Düsseldorf International Airport. From Dusseldorf Airport you can arrive Cologne by using train which would approximately take about 40 minutes.
You can also take the train to come to Cologne, which has two major train stations.
What to see?
Cologne is a big city, which has many attractions for tourists. First of all you need to see the Cologne's Dom (Kölner Dom), which is one of the greatest Doms of Germany. Here you can also take 509 stairs to see a panaromic view of the city from the top of the south tower of the dom.
Veedel- City Quarters would be one other attraction that any visitors of Cologne need to see. In these quarters you can find various designers, bookshops and bars. There are also some ancient statues and some exhibitions that you can see.
Other attractions for tourist would be the Cologne's Synagogue, 12 Romanesuq Churches. There are also 2 parks which will allow you to have a wonderful time in woods. For those who are interested in arts there are lots of museums and galleries like Museum Ludwig, Waşşraf-Richartz Museum etc. too.
