The Reinoldkirche, which is a protestant church, is the oldest existing church in Dortmund. At firs it was built as a palatinate church. The current structure is a Romanesque gothic church. It was built between the years 1250 and 1270. The church is in the center of Dortmund. The 112 meter tall tower of the church, called Miracle of Westphalia, was completed in 1454.
As most of the other churches this church was heavily damaged after the World War II. After the renovation the tower has baraque features which has a visual harmony with the original style of the church. Today the tower is 104 meters tall and you can visit it.
The 6 bells of the tower are very large, they have a total weight of 20 tonnes.
There is not any kind of review about "Reinoldikirche".
