Frankfurt
Frankfurt, the birthplace of very famous Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, is one of the biggest cities in Germany and it is the largest city in state of Hesse. Frankfurt is famous for futuristic skyline and international airport. The modern city Frankfurt is economical center of Europe. Frankurt, which is placed on the river Ruhr, is also the transportation center in Germany. The European Central Bank has it's major residence placed in Frankfurt.
As a financial capital you can find here a lot of trade shows and exhibitions like the Frankfurt Auto Show. The big city attracts millions of tourists every year.
How to go?
You can go to Frankfurt by using the Frankfurt Airport, which has the second busiest passenger traffic in Europe. There are many various airlines using the Frankfurt Airport for any kind of budget. From the airport you can take the train to go to the city center. You can also use train or train to go to Frankfurt.
What to see?
As i very big and modern city there are many attractions for any kind of tourists. There are many museums, parks, exhibitions. The most important museums would be; Deutsches Architektur Museum, Deutsches Filmmuseum, Städel-Museum and Museum Judengasse. You can also watch the beautiful sunset of Frankfurt. You can also visit Zoo, Palmengarten, Grüneburgpark and the Turmpalast. For those who want to visit more historical monuments we would suggest the old Town Hall, "Romer", the St. Paul's Church and the main square.
