Siena another lovely city in the heart of Tuscany in Italy. Center of the city is proud to be World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Historical sites could be seen in three parts maybe, around Siena's Campo, around the Fortezza and around Duomo and the south of Siena.
From Middle ages to present Siena is a country with its ground color, indirect streets but amazing. After climbing the close streets you arive to Duomo which was begun in the twelfth century and one of the great examples of Italian romanesque architecture.
With a big piece of pizza at the town square Campo which is famed with hosting Palio horse races, a time break could be given to watch arcitectural works of the Palazzo Pubblico and the Torre del Mangia.

Where and what to eat in Siena is there are excellent gelateria called "Brivido" and the pici thick and homemade noodles could be your choice with typical Tuscan cuisine found next to the House of St Catherine. Siena Jazz Festivals during summer and Palio Horse Races - a horse race which is run in The Campo of Siena between July 2 and August 16 are the events you should not miss if you have a trip to Siena.
