Arnhem
Arnhem is a city located in the eastern part of the Netherlands, and capital of the province of Gelderland situated near the river Lower Rhine. It is the second largest city of Gelderland after the Nijmegen, and one of the largest ten cities of Netherlands.
Arnhem has more importance as regionally, than any other cities of the Netherlands because of the law courts and the offices of several government agencies with the higher educational establishments such as school of drama and a college of music. In addition to these, according to a professional jury, the city has chosen the best city of the Netherlands. So, this makes the city so special.
Arnhem Fashion Biennale, Sonsbeek Festival, World Ststues Festival, Papendal Games, Rio by the Rhine are famous events of the city. Airborne Museum, Dutch Water Museum, Museum of Modern Art Arnhem and Netherlands Open Air Museum are the some of museums that have historical and cultural value of the city.
Economically, industry plays a major role for the city's economy in addition to tourism. Several chemicals and metalworkings are basic industrial products.
