Flevoand is the one of the twelve province of the Netherlands. It is the newest of the country.  Lelystad is its capital, and Dronten, Almere, Noordoostpolder, Urk and Zeelwolde are the other municipalities of the province. Its flag has the colours blue, yellow and green with a white lily on the left top.

Trade, industry, education, health care and fishing-agriculture are the fundamental business areas for the province. Especially, wonderful tulips of the country are being grew at there.

The convince has "District Plan" which comprises the strategies about the regional plan, the environmental policy plan, the water management plan, the traffic and transport plan. The government aims a healty growing with this plan.

Furthermore, water sports sector is devoloping well at the province. Bed & breakfast and agritourism are the choices which are strongly recomended being try. Also, hundreds of historic shipwrecks are on the former sea bed, and the most interesting ones are placed on exhibition.
