You can’t miss them. There are actually three sets, but the best are the Canadian Horseshoe Falls. The others are the American Falls and the Luna Falls.

For statistics lovers: the Horseshoe Falls is 54 metres high and the American Falls is 56 metres high. Thirty four and a half million Imperial gallons of water tumble over Horseshoe Falls n ne minute. Ninety per cent of the flow of the Niagara River pours over the Horseshoe Falls, while only 10 per cent flows over the American Falls. It is estimated that about 12 million people come to see the falls every year.

The falls are beautifully illuminated at nightfall and it is a memorable sight. If you want to sidle up as close to the face of the falls as you possibly can, and then make sure you find your way to the scenic tunnels. A 200 metre network of tunnels leads you to three separate views of the Horseshoe Falls.
