Blue Lake Provincial Park encompasses two lakes, Blue and Langton, and the height of land between them. The object of everyone’s affection is Blue Lake, loved for its remarkable colour, clarity and striking beauty. Combine the lake’s  natural attraction with a broad beach, an interpretive program geared to visitors of all ages, and several pretty but non-strenuous hiking trails, and you have the making of a great family getaway.

Blue Lake has a large, loyal following of families, many of whom have spent their summer holidays here annually for decades. The main attraction is the beautiful beach of water-rippled sand that extends far along the shore and into the lake. It is perfect for wading youngsters. The water’s clarity means that this is one of the few parks in Ontario where snorkelling and scuba diving are worthwhile pursuits.
