A museum with a long history of showcasing Canadian art and artists, the Art Gallery of Ontario also features international works in its open design building full of natural and strategically artificial light. 

Permanent viewing options include the largest public collection of works by British sculptor Henry Moore and a rotating display of paintings from artists ranging from European Masters to Canadian contemporaries. 

You can also visit The Grange, Toronto’s oldest remaining brick house, and the original home of the Art Gallery of Ontario. The Grange still houses a few permanent displays, as well as hosts the occasional theatrical and spoken-art performances.
