The Central Veracruzan cultures have bequeathed some magnificent ceramic pieces. These include the smiling children figurines found in numerous tombs, which belong to the Remojadas culture.
In the Totonac and Huastec Section, the display cases contain beautiful plant and animal vases made form ceramic and alabaster. In the main room, fifteen or so steles and large stone statues represent women dressed in long robes.
