It is straight run along I-5 form the city of Los Angeles to this other Magic Kingdom. When animator extraordinaire Walt Disney delivered Mickey Mouse to the world in an unconventional hand-birth back in 1928, he changed the amusement and entertainment world forever – along with the lives of kids whose deepest desire years later was to sport a pair of fake mouse ears.

With the exception of bringing the technologically advanced Tomorrowland out of the 1950s Dark Ages and making it more in tune with the next millennium, as well as updating the street parades, the basic structure of Disneyland has not varied mush since it opened.

Especially appealing to young children are the gentle, happy rides of Fantasyland, including the Mad Tea Party, Peter Pan’s flight, It’s a Small World, and Sleeping Beauty Castle. The snow-capped Matterhorn, a bobsled rollercoaster ride, is also in this section. Mickey’s Toontown is another big hit with very little ones, who gape at all types of cartoon-land happenings and have a chance to meet Mickey in his very own house.
