Details / Automotive Museum
More than 80 lovingly restored vehicles lead visitors through the growth of an industry that create the defining icon of 20th century American culture. There is a 1924 Ford Model T that has been modified into a speedster, as well as a 420-horsepower 1966 Bizzarini. Horseless carriages, farm trucks, family sedans, 1950s cruisers, and sleek racers share floor space with vintage motorcycles. Rotating exhibitions have shown off Cadillacs, convertibles, woodies, and low riders.
“Motorcycles in the Park”, a gathering of scores of bikes from around the world – among them modified street bikes, choppers, crotch rockets, and vintage motorcycles – is presented every year.
The Racing Hall of Fame honours racing legends from all over the globe. The public is welcome to use the museum’s research library, stocked with vintage photos, rare magazines, and repair manuals dating from 1901.
